Founded by sisters Nora and Reem Motaweh, HOUSE OF MENA is a love letter to their roots. As Egyptian-Americans who grew up in the West but spent every possible moment visiting family in the East, their lives have always been a blend of two worlds—gathering around long tables filled with teas, coffee, food, stories, and laughter. Deeply rooted in their Egyptian heritage and shaped by a lifelong love for sharing, hosting, and connection, the sisters created HOUSE OF MENA as an extension of their home and heart.

Their tagline, “our home is yours” meaning "el beit beitak", is a quintessential Arabic phrase that invites guests to feel truly at ease—a warm expression of hospitality that lies at the heart of their mission.
